Abstract

Through the documentary sources existing in the regional archives of Murcia, we carried out a review of the press documentation and musical notations located in the local newspapers, as well as in the different musical and literary songbooks, with the intention of reconstructing the history of the singing of the mayos in the orchard of Murcia and their associated rituals.
