Abstract

The aim of this article is to study from a historical and artistic point of view the dressing-room of the sanctuary of Our Lady of “La Carrasca” in Villahermosa (Ciudad Real). It’s a little place created at the end of 17th century, whose wall paintings form an iconographic Marian cycle that serves as a framework for the figure of the Virgin. However, the actual decoration of this dressing-room is not the original one, configuring what we can see nowadays through the centuries.
